Andrew & Deborah Simmons
With a love of travel, being with friends and family, and entertaining, as well as the great outdoors we had been searching for the perfect spot for our family to enjoy for many generations to come. Welcome to Doss, Tx. With a great community spirit that is larger than Texas we believe we have found our forever home for our family. Welcome to the Doss 4S Ranch.
Andrew was born in Alabama but raised in Texas, an avid Alabama fan he was ecstatic when his daughters chose to attend UA then came back to Texas to live. Andrew worked in the industrial gas & welding supply business for over 25 years as owner in the DFW area, he still works in outside sales in the industry. Andrew loves classic muscle cars and has owned many over the years and always a garage full of fun cars to drive, especially on the roads of the Texas Hill Country while taking in the views. Andrew can be found doing whatever needs to be taken care of on the property, known as our “head ranch hand”.
Deborah born and raised Native Texan, Southern Girl at heart. Involved in the girls schools as they were growing up and always volunteering. Loves to bake, especially cake balls when she has the chance. We also raise and show Dalmatians, currently 3 in our home with one being a current AKC Grand Champion. In addition to confirmation showing she also does agility, barn hunt, FastCat, trick dog, and nose work with the Dals. You may see Beau riding around on the Mule with his dad on the ranch. She is also looking forward to raising other animals on the ranch, especially some Longhorn. Deborah oversees all of our guest reservations and social media. For special events at the ranch, Deborah and Rebekah can help coordinate your visit.
Rebekah Simmons Cox
Recently married to Garrett Cox on Nov. 12, 2022. Rebekah lives in Austin and is a graduate of The University of Alabama with a degree in Business Health Management, working in medical sales. She is also a certified yoga instructor and Level 1 Wine Sommelier, she teaches wine & yoga classes in the Austin and Hill Country area. If you are interested in a class for your groups visit to the ranch, she’s the go-to and can also help arrange other classes of interest. She’s the Dog Mom to Millie, who loves to lay on the porch at the ranch.
Hannah Simmons
Hannah attended The University of Alabama and Oklahoma Baptist University, with a degree in Elementary Education. She has taught 4th and 1st grades in the Dallas area before taking a change of career paths and can now be found flying off to wherever she’s called to go with a major airline. Hannah is also a Barre instructor and avid fitness enthusiast. She loves dogs, traveling and hanging out with friends and family.
Garrett Cox
Recently married into the family to Rebekah on Nov 12, 2022. Garrett resides in Austin and is a graduate of The University of Texas with a Finance degree. Garrett is a Wealth Management Advisor for a firm in Austin. In his free time he can be found either on a boat fishing or at the ranch hunting or taking care of things around the property. Or you may find him one night a week on the ice playing ice hockey. He and Rebekah love to camp, hike, and spend time outdoors. Garrett has learned to like wine and has done yoga while Rebekah has now become a pretty good fishing partner and hunter. You will need to ask to see the video of the proposal. Garrett is “Dog Dad” to Drake and Millie. Drake can be found chasing his dad on the Mule running around the property. If you are interested in any hunting activities at the ranch, Garrett is the man in charge and can help plan your visit.
